Effective October 18, 2026
Summary: PrivaCycle does not operate an account system, analytics service, advertising system, or server that receives your menstrual-cycle entries.
Cycle dates, flow, symptoms, mood, energy, sexual activity, cervical mucus, basal body temperature, ovulation-test results, sleep, exercise, notes, settings, and app-lock preferences are stored locally using Apple frameworks. The app uses this information on-device to show history, patterns, reminders, and date-based predictions.
If you turn on Apple Health, PrivaCycle asks permission to write menstrual-flow entries that you subsequently log. PrivaCycle does not read Health data. HealthKit data is handled by Apple under your device and iCloud settings. You can revoke permission in iOS Settings or the Health app.
If you choose Export, the app creates a JSON file containing your cycle data and opens the iOS share sheet. Data then goes only to the destination you select. Device and iCloud backups are controlled by Apple and your system settings.
PrivaCycle is free to download. For new customers, access requires a yearly auto-renewing subscription offered with a 3-day free trial, followed by a price of $19.99 per year in the United States. Apple displays and processes the applicable localized price, trial eligibility, payment, renewal, cancellation, restoration, and refunds.
Customers who previously purchased Lifetime Access, and customers who acquired PrivaCycle as a paid download before the subscription transition, keep their grandfathered access without needing the yearly subscription. The app uses StoreKit to receive product information, transaction and entitlement status, and trial or offer eligibility from Apple so it can provide current or grandfathered access. Futuron does not receive your cycle entries through StoreKit.
Opening Privacy, Terms, support, or App Store content also uses the internet.
Reminders are scheduled locally through iOS.
PrivaCycle contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or AI SDK. It does not track you across apps or websites and does not sell data.
Use Delete All Data in Settings to remove local cycle records, or delete the app. Data separately shared to Apple Health, backups, Files, or another export destination must be managed there. Deleting the app does not cancel an active App Store subscription; subscriptions must be managed through your Apple account settings.
Cycle and ovulation predictions are calendar estimates only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, pregnancy planning guidance, or contraception.
